Watford owner to sell Udinese |LAGOS EYE NEWS

Watford owner Gino Pozzo is in the process of selling Udinese, so he can focus solely on taking the English club back to the Premier League.

Pozzo’s family have owned Udinese for 39 years, but is now selling the Serie A club to American entrepreneurs for around £150m.

Sky Sports News understands that Pozzo sees more potential for growth and success with Watford.

Watford have been in the Championship for three years and finished 14th this season.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports News understands that former midfielder Valon Behrami is due to join the Hornets as assistant to the club’s sporting director Gian Luca Nani.
