Lagos Poll: Akindipe Urges Massive Turnout for APC in Ajeromi-Ifelodun LG |LAGOS EYE NEWS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the position of Executive Chairman, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Akindipe Olalekan Olu, popularly known as “Lampholder,” has called on eligible voters across the local government area to come out en masse on Saturday, July 12, 2025, to vote for all APC candidates in Lagos State.

He made the call while addressing journalists on Thursday after an interactive session with the Arewa Community ahead of the election.

Hon. Akindipe, who expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of the Arewa Community especially Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko for his constant support, urged them not to jeopardize the development being enjoyed across the state by voting for other political parties, which he described as lacking vision and being focused solely on personal gain.

He stated, “Residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun are living proof that the dividends of democracy are reaching the grassroots. This election will be a strong statement of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.”

The APC flagbearer emphasized the importance of continued support for the ruling party. “Electorates in Ajeromi-Ifelodun and across other local governments should not vote for parties that do not have the people’s interests at heart. A vote for APC is a vote of confidence in our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is also a vote for sustained development at the grassroots level,” he said.

Hon. Akindipe further stated that his ambition is rooted in a desire to serve and bring tangible, sustainable development to Ajeromi-Ifelodun through improved infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment, and enhanced grassroots security.
