The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has commenced interviews for officers shortlisted in the 2025 Conversion and Transfer of Service exercise, aimed at filling key vacancies across the state’s civil service.
Speaking with newsmen, the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe, explained that the ongoing exercise is the fifth batch since the inception of the current administration, with over 3,000 officers having benefited so far.
He disclosed that 634 officers were shortlisted for the process, out of which 318 participated in the qualifying examination, while 380 candidates who were exempted from the exam are currently undergoing interviews.
The exercise, he said, is targeted at recruiting about 600 officers to strengthen the state workforce.
Alhaji Aderibigbe added that successful candidates would receive their conversion letters in the coming weeks.
The interview exercise for the shortlisted officers is expected to conclude on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
