The Governance Advisory Council (GAC) members led by Prince (Dr.) Oluyole Olusi, alongside executive members of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC), chairmen of the 57 local government areas and local council development areas, party LGA leaders and other key stakeholders, on Tuesday converged on the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ogba, Ikeja, for the official demonstration of the party’s new E-Registration platform.
The milestone event, which featured a live demonstration and public presentation of the digital registration system, drew distinguished party elders, leaders and members who expressed enthusiasm over the innovation aimed at modernizing membership registration and data management across Lagos State.
Speaking at the event, Prince Oluyole Olusi praised the Lagos APC leadership for what he described as a bold and transformative initiative.
He noted that the platform would serve as a “game-changer” for the party by strengthening internal democracy, ensuring accurate membership records and positioning the APC for even greater success in future elections.
During the demonstration, party officials showcased the platform’s user-friendly features, including real-time registration, biometric data capture, instant issuance of membership cards, and seamless synchronization of membership records across the party’s structures.
Leaders and stakeholders present took turns to complete their registration on the platform, receiving both digital and physical membership cards a development that drew applause from attendees who commended the party’s digital advancement.
Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, assured party faithful that the E-Registration exercise would be deployed across the 245 wards in the state in the coming days.
He urged all committed members to actively participate, emphasizing that the initiative would help build a more organized, inclusive and formidable party structure.
The event further reinforced Lagos APC’s status as a trailblazer in progressive governance and innovative party administration in Nigeria.
