Comfort Erhabor: Nigeria’s Rising Goalkeeping Star Shines at Portsmouth|LAGOS EYE NEWS

Goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor is emerging as one of Nigeria’s brightest young prospects after establishing herself in England’s second tier with Portsmouth FC Women.

Born in the Netherlands on 26 April 2005, Erhabor holds both Dutch and Nigerian nationality but opted to represent Nigeria after receiving a call-up to the country’s U-17 side.

The 20-year-old began her youth career at West Ham United Women before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion Women, where she signed her first professional contract in January 2024.

Erhabor gained further experience through loan spells at Hibernian W.F.C. and Plymouth Argyle Women, prior to sealing a move to Portsmouth as she continues her development in the Women’s Super League 2.
