The Lagos State Government has commenced the Year 2025 e-Registration for the Entrance Examination (Screening Test) into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools for Primary Six pupils transitioning to Junior Secondary School.

The Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, confirmed that the registration exercise will run from Thursday, February 6, to Friday, May 16, 2025.

He further stated that the screening test will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from Wednesday, May 28 to Friday, May 30, 2025, across designated CBT centres in the state.

Mr. Orunsolu emphasized that only qualified pupils from both public and private primary schools are eligible to participate, noting that the application fee is set at N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only).

He also disclosed that registration must be completed via the Lagos State Examinations Board’s official portal: https://pay.examboard.com.ng/model/payment/login.

Reiterating the importance of the screening test, Mr. Orunsolu stated that it remains the sole requirement for admission into JSS1 in any of the State’s Model Colleges.

He advised interested candidates and parents to visit the Board’s Head Office at 254 Ipaja Road, near the NYSC Orientation Camp, Agege, for further enquiries.
