The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the immediate dissolution of the management board of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA).
This move effectively relieves the Executive Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dele Ologun, and other members of their duties.
They have been directed to hand over all government property in their possession to the agency’s accounting officer.
In a swift move to ensure continuity in the management of football affairs in the state, the Governor has approved the constitution of a caretaker committee to oversee the operations of Sunshine Stars Football Club.
The newly appointed committee will be led by Mr. Tokunbo Akinyelure, who will serve as the Team Manager and Welfare Officer.
Other members of the caretaker team include:
1. Morris Kwaghzever – Special Duties
2. Abdul Wahab – Kits Manager
3. Elias Michael – Masseur
4. Adetula Olumide – Physiotherapist
5. Ayodeji Abe – Camp Commandant
6. Ademola Ayodeji – Assistant Kits Manager I
7. Oria Sola – Assistant Kits Manager II
8. Imisi Ayodele – Curator
9. Isaac Afolabi – Media Officer
The caretaker committee is to report directly to the Office of the Governor.
Governor Aiyedatiwa tasked the newly constituted team with the responsibility of revitalising Sunshine Stars FC and steering the club towards greater success.
