Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended warm birthday wishes to Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, describing him as the pride of the continent.

In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday, Governor Abiodun praised Dangote’s unwavering commitment to entrepreneurship and development across Africa, noting that he embodies the spirit of African resilience, innovation, and business acumen.

“Alhaji Dangote has demonstrated the inherent zeal and determination of the African spirit through his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s economy and the continent at large, especially in the areas of youth employment and corporate social responsibility,” the governor stated.

Prince Abiodun also offered prayers for continued health, strength, and more impactful years for the business mogul.

“I heartily congratulate my friend and brother, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his birthday. On behalf of the government and the people of Ogun State, I wish him more fulfilled years in sound health. May God Almighty continue to guide and guard him,” he said.

Similarly, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar lauded Dangote as a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to Aliko Dangote on the occasion of his 68th birthday. He remains a transformative figure whose investments have reshaped Nigeria’s industrial landscape,” Atiku said.
