The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, have been officially inducted as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via a post on the church’s official Facebook page, where the honour was described as a recognition of the couple’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of young people within RCCG and beyond.

The post read: “Our Father-in-the-Lord and Mother-in-Israel, #pastoreaadeboyeofficial and #pastorfoluadeboye, were inducted as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria. The decoration is a testament to their commitment to the all-around growth and development of young individuals in RCCG and around the world. Glory be to God.”

The Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade, both prominent Christian youth organisations in Nigeria, are renowned for their dedication to instilling discipline, spiritual growth, and godly character in young people. The role of Patron and Patroness General is reserved for individuals who exemplify strong moral leadership and spiritual mentorship.
