Five hundred beneficiaries from across Lagos State on Tuesday received a diverse range of empowerment tools for construction vocations, encompassing skills like bricklaying, plumbing, welding, auto electric work, aluminum construction, carpentry, and tiling.
Others are: Tailoring, Catering, Grinding Machines, Popcorn Machines, Spraying Machines, Mechanical Tools, among others, during an event hosted by the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at Lagos House, Ikeja.
The initiative, designed to foster self-reliance and economic growth, was made possible through the collaborative support of development partners including First Bank, FCMB, Providus Bank, LSETF, and the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Trade & Investment.
The event was graced by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, who represented the First Lady, alongside other top government officials.
Congratulations to all the beneficiaries! With these tools, they are now equipped to create value, build sustainable livelihoods, and empower others within their communities.
