In a bid to boost home ownership among federal public servants, the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) has announced a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) to provide housing loans of up to N50 million.
This is contained in a statement released through Obiechina Ngozi
Head, Information and Public Relations Unit on Monday.
According to the statement, the partnership, aimed at enhancing access to affordable housing finance, offers loans at a competitive single-digit interest rate, with a maximum repayment period of 25 years.
This development was contained in a notice signed by the Executive Secretary of the Loans Board, Salamatu Ladi Ahmed, and circulated to all federal parastatals, including the military, paramilitary, police, and other interested agencies.
The statement emphasised that the initiative is designed to encourage home ownership among public servants, promote stability and security, and enhance their overall well-being and job satisfaction.
Interested federal public servants are advised to visit the Board’s office located on the 10th and 11th floors of Block B, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), for further enquiries.
