The second batch of 415 intending pilgrims from Kwara State have departed for Saudi Arabia this afternoon to perform the holy pilgrimage of Hajj 2025.
Speaking with pilgrims before their departure, the State Amirul-Hajj, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu advised them to be good ambassadors of the State while in Saudi Arabia.
The Amirul-Hajj said the airlifted second batch brings the total pilgrims from Kwara in Saudi Arabia to 975.
The Olupo of Ajase-Ipo maintained that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has put in place various measures to ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims during their journey.
The Special Adviser on Religion (Islamic Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Maigoro led the second batch of 415 intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Max Airline arrived at the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin at 11:45am this morning and took off to Saudi Arabia at 1:20 pm this afternoon.
