Sanwo-Olu Commissions New Housing Projects in Surulere, Reaffirms Commitment to Affordable Homes |LAGOS EYE NEWS

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned two new housing developments in Surulere— the LBIC/Megamound Greater Lagos Apartments at Obele-Oniwala and the LBIC/Crown Exquisite Homes at Olaleye New Town, Iponri.

Speaking at the commissioning, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the power of collaboration and focused governance in delivering solutions to the state’s housing challenges.

“These developments speak to what’s possible when we stay focused and work together. Through collaboration with our private sector partners, we’ve delivered housing units, and a sense of stability and dignity for hundreds of Lagosians,” he said.

The Greater Lagos Apartments comprise 378 units, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats to cater to various family sizes and needs.

Meanwhile, the Crown Exquisite Homes feature 64 four-bedroom maisonettes, targeting families seeking more spacious living arrangements.

The governor expressed appreciation to Megamound Investment Limited and Crown Exquisite Homes & Property Limited—private sector partners in the projects—for their professionalism and commitment to quality delivery.

Reiterating his administration’s dedication to addressing the housing deficit in the state, Sanwo-Olu assured residents that more housing projects are underway through the Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC).

“We remain committed to closing the housing gap in Lagos, one step at a time,” he stated.

The governor called on stakeholders and residents to continue supporting the state’s housing initiatives, saying, “Let’s keep building together for a Greater Lagos, and for generations to come.”
