A small business owned by Mrs. Olushola Oluwatuyi suffered a significant setback after a robbery in the early hours of April 11, 2025.
The break-in occurred around 3:10 AM when unidentified individuals cut through the shop’s locks and gained unauthorized entry.
Stolen items include:
15 bags of 50kg rice
20 kegs of 25-litre vegetable oil
Several cartons of Indomie noodles and spaghetti
A standing fan
Multiple cartons of Maggi seasoning and other condiments
A modem
An undisclosed amount of cash
Other valuable items
Mrs. Oluwatuyi has appealed to the police and relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and help track down the culprits.
She also called for assistance in recovering the stolen items.

“This is a startup business, and these losses threaten our ability to stay afloat,” she said. “We are relying on the support of the public and law enforcement to bring the perpetrators to justice.”
In a bid to encourage public cooperation, the business owner is offering a N50,000 reward to anyone who provides credible information leading to the recovery of the stolen items or the arrest of those responsible.
