The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, has conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti on Prince (Dr.) Tajudeen Olusi, Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).
The installation ceremony, which drew traditional rulers, political leaders, and dignitaries from across the Southwest, celebrated Prince Olusi’s remarkable contributions to Yoruba land and Nigeria at large—particularly in the areas of leadership, public service, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
In his remarks, Oba Adejugbe described Prince Olusi as a symbol of wisdom, integrity, and unity.
He noted that the conferment of the Atobatele title not only honours Olusi’s enduring legacy but also reinforces the historical and cultural ties between Lagos and Ekiti states.
The event marked a significant moment in Southwest traditional and political circles, highlighting the enduring respect and influence commanded by Prince Olusi across the region.
