Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Surv. Ayokunnu S. Adesina as the Special Adviser (Non-Cabinet Rank) in the Office of the State Surveyor-General.
In a related development, the Governor also approved the appointment of Surv. Saliu Olalekan Odupe as the Acting Surveyor-General of Lagos State.
The announcement contained in a statement signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, who noted that both appointments are expected to further strengthen the operations and mandate of the Office of the State Surveyor-General.
Surv. Adesina, who previously served as the Permanent Secretary and Surveyor-General of Lagos State, brings to his new role a wealth of professional experience and institutional knowledge.
Similarly, Surv. Odupe has risen through the ranks within the civil service, culminating in his latest appointment as Acting Surveyor-General.
Mr. Agoro congratulated the newly appointed officials and expressed confidence in their ability to drive innovation, uphold professionalism, and implement strategic reforms in the surveying and geospatial development sector of the State.
