Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has offered prayers for Nigeria, Kwara State, and families across the country, seeking divine intervention for peace, prosperity, and security.
In a statement issued to the media on Tuesday, the Governor shared reflections from his spiritual journey, stating that he felt honoured to stand at the precincts of the Ka’abah in Makkah to perform Umrah ahead of the 2025 Hajj rites.

“After spending a few days in Medina, the exalted city of the Prophet, I feel honoured to again stand at the precinct of the blessed House of Allaah (Ka’abah) to perform my Umrah ahead of the 2025 Hajj rites,” the Governor said.
He prayed that Almighty Allaah would accept the Hajj as an act of worship and grant the supplications made for the country, Kwara State, and Nigerian families.
“As our administration works openly and behind the scenes with different stakeholders to tackle various challenges of governance, I pray that Allaah bless our modest human efforts and investments — day and night — for sustainable peace, prosperity, and security of our people and our communities,” he added.
