The Osun State Command of the Amotekun Corps has arrested suspects involved in armed robbery and drug-related offences.
Commander of the Corps, CSP Isaac Omoyele (rtd), disclosed this while parading the suspects at the Amotekun headquarters in Osogbo on Tuesday.
According to Omoyele, two armed robbery suspects—30-year-old Shogo Oriade and 28-year-old Asimiyu Toheeb—were apprehended in the Oke-Onitea area of Osogbo.
He noted that although the duo initially evaded arrest, they were eventually tracked and apprehended by the Corps’ intelligence team.

The commander also paraded five suspects arrested for drug-related offences.They include 29-year-old Makanjuola Sodiq, 25-year-old Jide Ojo, 29-year-old Toheeb Moruf, 20-year-old Azeez Abdulai, and 25-year-old Ademola Kehinde.
Omoyele reiterated the Corps’ commitment to maintaining security and curbing criminal activities across Osun State.
