A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and political commentator, Barr. Jesutega Onokpasa, has reportedly passed away.
The lawyer and vocal supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu died on Monday under yet-to-be-disclosed circumstances.
His death was confirmed on Tuesday via a post on X (formerly Twitter) by pro-APC advocate, Okezie Atani, who expressed condolences to his family.

“We lost Barr. Jesutega Onokpasa, may his soul rest in perfect peace,” Atani wrote.
Onokpasa was a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 general elections and also served on the party’s Publicity Committee. He was widely known for his media appearances, where he passionately defended the policies and leadership of President Tinubu.
He is survived by his wife and children.
