The Western Nigeria Security Network, Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, has arrested the suspected killer of Mr Nelson Adepoyigi, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 5, Ose Local Government Area of the state.
Adepoyigi was abducted by gunmen on May 13, while parking his vehicle at his residence along Ifon/Owo Road in Ifon, the headquarters of Ose.
Adetunji Adeleye, Commander, Amotekun Corps, disclosed this in Akure at the parade of 32 suspects arrested for various crimes across the state.
Adeleye said the suspect has confessed and took operatives of the cirp back into the forest where they recovered the body and some of the items of the deceased
Adeleye urged residents of the state to go about their normal duties and report suspicious movements to the Amotekun Corps.
