Qatar has stated that it reserves the right to respond following an Iranian missile attack targeting a US military base located within its territory.
The Authorities confirmed there were no casualties as a result of the strike.
In a statement, Iran’s top security body acknowledged the strike but emphasized that the US base was situated far from urban centers and residential areas in Qatar.
“This action does not pose any threat to our friendly and brotherly neighbor, Qatar,” the statement read.
Iranian officials further stated that the number of missiles used in the attack was equivalent to those deployed by the United States during a recent strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced it had completed a series of strikes on missile and drone storage sites in western Iran, escalating regional tensions further.

In response to the unfolding situation, the United Arab Emirates said it is continuously assessing the security landscape in the region. This came shortly after Qatar temporarily closed its airspace.
According to Flightradar on X (formerly Twitter), flight path data and air traffic control audio indicate that UAE airspace has also been shut down, although Emirati authorities have not issued an official statement confirming the closure.
The region remains on high alert as diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation continue.
