The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following reports that Nollywood actor and producer, Kayode Peters, popularly known as KP or Koko, has passed away in Canada.
According to sources, Peters died earlier today in Toronto after complications from an unsuccessful surgical procedure.
The Adewunmi family has officially confirmed his passing, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of the beloved filmmaker.
Kayode Peters was widely known for his role in the popular television series Flatmates, where he also served as a co-producer.
His contributions to Nollywood spanned decades and included numerous productions that resonated with audiences both in Nigeria and abroad.
Peters, known for his vibrant personality and creative storytelling, is remembered fondly by colleagues, fans, and friends across the entertainment industry.
He is survived by his family, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
