The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025/26 academic session.
The decision was reached during the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions held on Tuesday at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The meeting, which brought together key stakeholders from various tertiary institutions across the country, also set cut-off marks for other categories of institutions.
According to the resolution, colleges of nursing sciences will admit candidates with a minimum score of 140, while polytechnics, colleges of education, and colleges of agriculture will accept candidates with a minimum score of 100.
JAMB disclosed the outcome of the meeting via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that the cut-off marks were jointly agreed upon by the heads of tertiary institutions and other stakeholders involved in the admission process.
