The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, has added another feather to her cap as she graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public Sector Management from the prestigious University of York in the United States.
In a statement released over the weekend, Meranda described the achievement as a significant milestone in her academic and leadership journey.
She also used the opportunity to encourage women to remain steadfast in their pursuit of education, regardless of their roles in society.
“I was conferred with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public Sector Management by the prestigious University of York,” she announced.
“This milestone is a reminder that growth has no finish line. As leaders, we must keep learning, keep evolving, and keep serving with excellence.”
The Deputy Speaker, who has been a vocal advocate for women empowerment, emphasized the importance of continuous personal development.
“To every woman juggling a career whether in the private or public sector family, and personal growth, this is proof that you can do it all,” she said.
She expressed deep gratitude to her support system, including her family, friends, lecturers, colleagues, and well-wishers. Meranda gave special recognition to her husband, whom she described as her “rock and greatest encourager.”
“A special thank you to my husband, whose unwavering support made this dream possible. Onward and upward!” she concluded.
