The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has issued a strong warning to the general public regarding a fraudulent recruitment exercise being circulated by an unidentified agency.
In an official statement released by Kolawole Ojelabi, Head of Corporate Communication said the agency clarified that it is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise and disassociated itself from any advertisements or calls for applications allegedly made on its behalf.
“These recruitment claims are false, unauthorized, and fraudulent,” the statement read.
The Authority urged members of the public to exercise caution and refrain from engaging with individuals or organizations claiming to recruit on behalf of LAMATA.
