The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has honoured Nigerian football star Rasheedat Ajibade with the title of Kingdom Star in recognition of her outstanding achievements at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (#WAFCON) held in Morocco.
Ajibade, a committed member of the ministry, played a pivotal role in leading Nigeria’s Super Falcons to victory at the tournament.
During a monthly ‘Power Must Change Hands’ programme.special service at the church headquarters on Saturday, Ajibade publicly expressed her gratitude to God, attributing her success and career progress to divine grace.
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has recounted her journey from street hawking to international football glory.
She told the congregation she once sold olive oil, kunu, and zobo drinks around the church premises during deliverance services as a young girl.
Now a professional footballer with Atletico Madrid, Ajibade said her rise is the result of prayer, hard work, and persistence.
She urged the audience not to give up in the face of challenges, stressing the importance of faith and determination.
Ajibade’s appearance drew cheers as she credited her faith for helping her through tough moments in her club and national team career.
The General Overseer of MFM, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, commended Ajibade’s accomplishments, saying:
“We are celebrating God’s faithfulness in the life of one of our very own, Rasheedat Ajibade, for her exploits and recognition at the WAFCON tournament.”
The celebration reaffirms MFM’s commitment to recognizing excellence among its members who are making a mark in various fields while upholding their faith.
