The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

In a statement issued on Monday, August 4, 2025, the examination body announced that candidates who participated in the exam can now access their results online.

“WAEC is pleased to inform candidates who sat the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025, that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025,” the statement read.

Candidates are advised to check their results by visiting the Council’s official result portal at http://waecdirect.org, where they are to log in using their examination details and result checker pins.

LAGOS EYE NEWS reports that WAEC officials are currently meeting with journalists at the Council’s national office in Yaba, Lagos, where further details including performance statistics and regional breakdowns are expected to be disclosed.
