The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure across the state.
State Commandant, Keshinro Adedotun, made this assurance while receiving refurbished patrol vehicles donated by a multinational organisation at the command headquarters in Ikeja.
Speaking at the official handover, Adedotun described collaboration with relevant stakeholders and organisations as vital to the Corps’ mandate.
He pledged that the newly refurbished vehicles would be deployed strictly for operational purposes to enhance security across the state.
The Commandant further stressed that the vehicles would play a strategic role in curbing vandalism, theft, sabotage, and other criminal activities targeting telecommunications facilities, public utilities, and other national assets.
Adedotun reaffirmed the Corps’ determination to intensify its operations in protecting infrastructure, assuring the public that the NSCDC remains steadfast in delivering on its statutory responsibility.
