Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently holding a strategic meeting at the Zamfara State Government House, Gusau.
The meeting is chaired by the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, alongside the Acting National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Umar Damagum.
In attendance are the host Governor, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State; Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State; Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State; Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State; Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State; and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State. The Director General of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, is also present.
Welcoming his colleagues, Governor Lawal described the gathering as a symbol of renewed unity, resilience, and collective commitment to the progress of the party and the nation at large.
The meeting, which is being held behind closed doors, is expected to focus on strategic deliberations concerning party affairs, national issues, and developmental priorities.
