Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have announced the departure of head coach Jose Mourinho following the club’s failure to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
The decision comes just a day after Beşiktaş dismissed Ole Gunnar Solskjær, marking the exit of two former Manchester United managers from the Turkish Super Lig in quick succession.
Mourinho, who joined Fenerbahçe amid high expectations, leaves the club after a disappointing European campaign.
His departure underscores growing pressure on Turkish clubs to deliver on the continental stage.
