Washington Spirit and U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder Andi Sullivan and her husband, Drew Skundrich, have welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Millie.
The couple, who announced in February that they were expecting their first child, shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Life has been good. Millie is here!”
Sullivan, 29, has been a mainstay for the Spirit since being drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in 2018. She earned 52 caps with the USWNT, featuring in every minute of the team’s four matches at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. A Virginia native, she last appeared for the national team in October 2023 and was included as a training player in the squad’s June 2024 camp under new head coach Emma Hayes.
Sullivan has been sidelined since suffering a torn ACL in October 2023, but remains a key figure for the Spirit both on and off the field.
Her husband, Skundrich, also 29, played two seasons with D.C. United in Major League Soccer before joining Loudoun United FC, the club’s USL Championship affiliate, where he currently features as a midfielder.
