The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has welcomed Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, back into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Obasa received Jandor at his official residence in Ikeja GRA, where he described the return of the former governorship candidate as “a very good move” and expressed delight at his decision to rejoin the progressive fold.
The Speaker commended Jandor for his courage and conviction, noting that the APC remains the platform that best captures the aspirations of Lagosians and Nigerians.
He assured him of full reintegration into the party and pledged collaboration in promoting good governance across the state.
In his remarks, Jandor thanked Obasa for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to working with the APC family for the progress of Lagos and Nigeria.
He also applauded President Bola Tinubu for his tax reforms, describing them as bold measures aimed at securing the country’s economic future despite opposition from detractors.
“It takes courage and leadership to introduce such reforms. The President has once again demonstrated his resolve to put the people first, and I align fully with this vision,” Jandor said.
The meeting ended with both leaders pledging to strengthen the APC and intensify efforts toward the welfare of residents in Lagos State.
