The Olubadan designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has ordered traditional rulers including kings and Baales in Ibadan and its environment, to guard against the activities of land grabbers.
‎‎He gave the directive while hosting the traditional rulers and Baales, who paid him a courtesy visit, ahead of his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
‎‎Oba Ladoja tasked them to restrain themselves from acts capable of tarnishing the reputation attached to the stool they occupy.
‎‎He further enjoined them to live within the territory of their rulership for adequate supervision and vigilance, noting that every traditional ruler will be held responsible for the security lapses in their community.
‎Oba Ladoja while responding to the various concerns presented by some of the traditional rulers and Baales charged them to embrace farming.
‎The Oniladuntan of Laduntan, Oba Kamorudeen Adebowale who led the traditional rulers and Baales on the courtesy visit expressed optimism that the reign of Oba Ladoja will bring tremendous peace and progress to Ibadanland.
