The Lagos contingent excelled across multiple disciplines, including swimming, gymnastics, cycling, boxing, athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, chess, and wushu-kungfu a reflection of the state’s broad sporting strength and depth of talent.
Reacting to the landmark victory, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Lekan Fatodu, attributed the achievement to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s sustained investment in grassroots sports.

“This triumph is a clear testament to Governor Sanwo-Olu’s unwavering commitment to grassroots sports development in Lagos,” Fatodu said.
