Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has ordered the immediate suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Yanusa Musa Isma’il.

The suspension, according to a statement issued on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, followed allegations of negligence of duty and disregard for official responsibilities.

The statement directed the suspended Commissioner to provide cogent explanations on why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.

Governor Idris reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to accountability, discipline, and efficient service delivery, insisting that public officers must justify the confidence reposed in them.
