Turning Point USA has named Erika Kirk, wife of Chairle Kirk as its new Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board, the organization announced in a statement signed by board members Doug De Groote, Mike Miller, Tom Sodeika, and David Engelhardt
The announcement follows the passing of Charlie Kirk, the organization’s founder and long-time leader. Board members described serving alongside Kirk as “the honor of our lives” and emphasized his role in preparing the movement for this transition.
“Charlie worked tirelessly to ensure Turning Point USA was built to survive even the greatest tests,” the board said.
“It is our great pride to announce Erika Kirk as the new CEO and Chair of the Board for Turning Point USA.”
The board further pledged to continue advancing Kirk’s mission of faith-based leadership and national renewal.
Quoting Kirk’s well-known phrase, “We have a country to save,” the statement stressed the group’s commitment to preserving and expanding his vision.
“May God bless Erika, the Kirk family, and the entire team at Turning Point USA,” the message concluded.
Kirk is named CEO of Turning Point USA, the organization that her husband, Charlie Kirk, helped found and led until his assassination last week.
