Igbajo United Football Club has officially unveiled three new sets of jerseys ahead of the 2025/2026 football season. The launch ceremony, held yesterday in Igbajo, showcased the club’s renewed commitment to excellence and its deep cultural connection to the Igbajo community.
The collection features home, away, and training kits, each designed to reflect the club’s identity while honoring the rich traditions of the people of Igbajo.
The home and away jerseys, featuring a blend of green, yellow, and black socks, pay tribute to the community’s traditional colors—symbolizing prosperity, strength, and the lush agricultural heritage of the region. The designs also incorporate subtle patterns inspired by local artistry, striking a balance between modern aesthetics and cultural roots.
The training kit, presented in sleek black and yellow, embodies discipline and hard work. According to the club, it is designed to serve as a reminder of the players’ dedication as they prepare for the challenges of the new season.
Speaking at the unveiling, the club’s General Manager, Prince Adekunle Fakile, described the new kits as a symbol of unity and ambition.
“Today is a significant day for our club and our community. These jerseys are more than just uniforms; they are a symbol of our identity and our aspirations,” he said.
“The designs align perfectly with our cultural heritage, and we are confident they will inspire our players to give their best on the field. This is a sign of greater things to come for Igbajo United. We are building a team the people of Igbajo can be proud of, and we are committed to achieving success both on and off the pitch. We’ve done it before, and we can do it again.”
The unveiling event was attended by club officials, players, supporters, and members of the media team, who all expressed excitement for the new season. The jerseys are now available for purchase, with the club encouraging fans to show their support by wearing the new colors with pride.
