The Olusin of Isanlu Isin and Chairman of Isin Traditional Council, Oba (Dr.) Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, has ordered residents of Isanlu Isin and environs to begin immediate profiling of non-indigenes living in the community.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by Dr. Jacob Ayanda, Vice President of the Isanlu Isin Development Association.
The monarch said the measure became necessary to verify the identities of all residents, separate those with genuine ties from individuals with questionable backgrounds, and forestall potential security threats.
“Those found wanting will be promptly handed over to security agencies, while law-abiding residents will be accommodated,” he stated.
Oba Oloyede made the declaration during meetings with community stakeholders, including chiefs, ward heads, vigilantes, women, youths, and representatives of non-indigenous groups. He stressed that strangers or unidentified visitors will no longer be tolerated.
The royal father further noted that securing the bushes and forests around Isanlu Isin is vital to preventing attacks and safeguarding peace across the community.
He assured residents that both government security agencies and local vigilante groups have been fully mobilized to protect lives and property. “Our people must remain vigilant and promptly share information that can enhance security efforts,” he said.
At the same time, the monarch reassured genuine residents and business owners, whether indigenes or not, that their rights would be protected. “All law-abiding persons who contribute positively to the growth of Isanlu Isin have nothing to fear,” he added.
Oba Oloyede commended the sacrifices of local security operatives and promised that their vigilance will be recognized and rewarded by the community.
