Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has openly declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, praising the President’s policies and reforms as pivotal to Nigeria’s future.
Speaking during the state government’s weekly citizens’ engagement programme in Roni Local Government Area, Governor Namadi said President Tinubu had “earned the trust of Nigerians” through what he described as visible economic reforms and policy changes within his first two years in office.
In a symbolic show of solidarity, the Governor raised both hands in the four-finger salute, a gesture widely interpreted as backing Tinubu’s 2027 ambition.
The crowd erupted in cheers, with supporters chanting along as a popular praise song by musician Rarara played in the background.
