Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
In addition to the prison term, Judge Arun Subramanian imposed a $500,000 fine the maximum allowed under the law and ordered Combs to serve five years of supervised release after completing his sentence.
Before his sentencing, Combs addressed the court, admitting he had lost his way in what he described as his “journey of life.”
He told the judge he was “sick from drugs” and “out of control” during the period that led to his criminal conduct.
