The Operations Officer of the Oyo State Amotekun Corps, Mogaji Kazeem Akinro, has urged residents of the state to work closely with the corps to strengthen community safety and promote lasting peace.
Akinro made the appeal during the official commissioning of the newly built Amotekun Security Post in the Akingbade/Akintola community of Egbeda Local Government Area, Ibadan.
He explained that the project was designed to boost surveillance and ensure prompt response to security challenges within the community and across Oyo State.
While assuring residents of sustained security presence and quick intervention in times of distress, the Amotekun officer warned that anyone caught violating the law would face the full weight of justice
