Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Olora of Ora, His Royal Highness Oba Adebayo Samuel Akolade JP, who died on Monday.
In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Tuesday, the Governor described the late monarch as a respected traditional ruler known for his wisdom, leadership, and love for peace and development in Ora and its environs.
Governor AbdulRazaq extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late royal father and the people of Ora in Ifelodun Local Government Area, urging them to take solace in the impactful life the Olora lived.
He also recalled his personal interactions with the late Oba Akolade, whom he described as a man of integrity and a devoted servant of his people.
The Governor commended the monarch’s legacy of public service as a retired civil servant and his commitment to progressive values throughout his reign.
Governor AbdulRazaq prayed for the repose of the monarch’s soul and for divine comfort for his family and the Ora community during this period of grief.
