The detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has dismissed all members of his legal team handling his ongoing trial.
Kanu, who announced his decision in court, told the presiding judge that he was prepared to defend himself without legal representation.
Following his declaration, the Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) in the team, led by Kanu Agabi (SAN), informed the court of their decision to withdraw from further participation in the case.
As proceedings continue, Kanu is currently addressing the court from the dock, challenging its jurisdiction to continue with his trial.
