A Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ekiti State, Emmanuel Fayose has strongly condemned the recent attack on members of the party in Ekiti State, describing it as a cowardly act by those threatened by the growing popularity of the party.
Fayose, who addressed journalists after submitting his nomination form at the ADC headquarters in Abuja, said the attackers opened fire on ADC supporters and destroyed property during a peaceful gathering, leaving several people injured.
Fayose reaffirmed his commitment to a transparent and people-oriented leadership, saying his decision to join the party was based on its openness and vision for progress.
He promised that his administration would focus on infrastructure, youth empowerment and improved living standards, while calling on the people of Ekiti to remain resolute and support the ADC in its mission to bring about what he described as “a good beginning” for the state.
