The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa, CCIE, has commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her visionary leadership and dedication to empowering women and youth through technology-focused initiatives under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the RHI/Huawei Women in Tech Training Programme held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Abuja, Inuwa described the First Lady’s efforts as a catalyst for national development, fostering inclusivity and expanding digital participation across the country.
He reaffirmed NITDA’s commitment to supporting the First Lady’s office and collaborating with relevant partners to advance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in equipping Nigerians with digital skills and promoting human capital development.
Inuwa further highlighted the partnership between RHI and Huawei as a “triangle of hope”—a synergy of vision, technology, and national strategy geared towards driving Nigeria’s digital transformation.
Encouraging participants of the programme, the NITDA DG urged them to apply their newly acquired skills to innovate, mentor others, and contribute meaningfully to community and national growth.
