Atalanta have officially parted ways with head coach Ivan Juric following a string of poor results in the early stages of the 2025–26 Serie A season.
The announcement came shortly after the Bergamo side suffered a 3–0 home defeat to newly-promoted Sassuolo on Sunday, a result that ultimately sealed Juric’s fate.
Juric, who took over from long-serving manager Gian Piero Gasperini during the summer, leaves Atalanta languishing in 13th place on the Serie A table, having managed just two wins from their opening 11 league matches.
Reports suggest that Juric’s dismissal was also influenced by a recent altercation with Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, which, combined with the team’s poor performances, led the club’s hierarchy to take decisive action.
Atalanta are expected to announce an interim replacement in the coming days as they look to revive their faltering campaign.
