The lawmaker representing Mushin Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Nureni Akinsanya, has been commended for his exemplary representation and outstanding performance in effective service delivery.
The recognition came from the Inspiher Development and Empowerment Network (IDEN), Odi-Olowo LCDA, which presented an award to the lawmaker at the Assembly Complex, Alausa.
The group described Hon. Akinsanya is a worthy representative who has distinguished himself through quality constituency service and people-oriented initiatives.
Speaking during the presentation, the Coordinator of IDEN, Bintu Rasullah, said the group rated the lawmaker highly for his contributions to women’s empowerment, elderly care, and youth development.
She urged him to continue supporting women, children, and young people through impactful programmes.
In his response, Hon. Akinsanya expressed appreciation to IDEN for the honour and dedicated the award to the people of Mushin Constituency I.
“Without the people of my constituency, I would not be here as a lawmaker. I dedicate this award to them,” he said.
He went on to highlight some of his notable achievements in education, health, and empowerment initiatives.
“We have been consistent in supporting women, the elderly, and youths through various empowerment programmes, and we will not relent. More initiatives are coming in the months ahead,” Hon. Akinsanya assured.
Fatima Olaleye, Morufat Alade, Taiwo Monsurat Folorunsho, and Helen Taylor were among the IDEN delegation present at the event.
