The Rivers State police command says it has rescued the five abducted students who were abducted by yet-to-be identified Cultists from their isolated residences.
The command spokesperson Grace Iringe-koko in a statement made available to Galaxy news, said the students were rescued unhurt in a rescue operation conducted at Rumudogo 2 community, in Emuoha local government area of the state by the Command’s tactical teams, in collaboration with security agencies and the community.
The victims are said to be receiving treatment in an hospital for medical examination as efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the fleeing Cultists and abductors.
The Rivers state police commissioner CP Olugbenga Adepoju while warning the perpetrators, said he will not rest until all those responsible are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
