Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, GCON, has reportedly passed away this morning in a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Justice Muhammad, who served on the Supreme Court from 2007 until his resignation in 2022, was the 18th Chief Justice of Nigeria, having been sworn into office in 2019.
He resigned from the role on health grounds in June 2022, citing medical reasons for his retirement.
