In a major leadership move, Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL) has appointed Abiodun Olamide Bamiduro as Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), effective 2 January 2026.

Bamiduro, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), rises from his previous role as OICL’s Financial Controller, a position he has held since 2021. During his tenure, he led the committee that secured OICL’s first-ever credit rating from Agusto & Co, implemented a cost-saving Group-wide ERP system, and strengthened internal financial controls across the organization.

OICL Chairman Otunba Bimbola Ashiru praised Bamiduro’s appointment, stating:
“His leadership in financial governance and efficiency gives the Board full confidence that he will drive the next phase of growth and value for our shareholder states.”

Before joining OICL, Bamiduro enjoyed a 20-year career in the energy sector, including 15 years with Transocean, where he became the first Nigerian and African Finance Manager responsible for one of the company’s largest operational regions across Nigeria and Africa. His expertise spans financial control, treasury, tax, and complex financial integrations.

He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on several OICL subsidiary boards, including Lagos Airport Hotel Ltd.

In his new role, Bamiduro will oversee OICL’s group-wide financial strategy, including capital management, financial planning, investor relations, and overall financial integrity for the diversified holding company.
